CHRISTCHURCH - The Philippine Embassy in New Zealand successfully concluded its Mobile Consular Mission in Christchurch, held from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square.

Throughout the three-day consular mission, the Embassy provided Filipino clients with a range of consular services, including passport renewal, civil registration, notarial services, and administration of oaths for dual citizenship.

Christchurch and the greater Canterbury region in the South Island is home to the second largest community of Filipinos in New Zealand. Due to the high demand for consular services from Filipinos based in the area, the Embassy will schedule another Mobile Consular Mission to Christchurch in January 2027. - END
