Suspension of the Embassy's NBI Fingerprinting services in compliance with the New Zealand government

/ advisory, covid19

The Embassy is temporarily suspending its NBI Fingerprinting services in view of prevailing New Zealand Government rules on keeping workplaces safe against COVID-19.

For those near Christchurch, you may book an NBI fingerprinting appointment with the Christchurch Consulate: https://philippineconsulatechristchurch.setmore.com/

For those near Auckland, kindly wait for the Auckland Consulate to reopen and also book an appointment first: https://phlconauckland.appointy.com/default.aspx

Kindly note that our Honorary Consuls are New Zealand volunteers/lawyers, who are from law firms with strict COVID-19 protocols, which is why you need to book an appointment.

You may also obtain fingerprinting at Kiwibank. Please check this link: https://www.kiwibank.co.nz/contact-us/support-hub/branch-and-atms/fingerprinting-services/. A minimum fee of $50 will be charged.

Meanwhile, feedback has been received from a client that NZ Police Stations have stopped providing NBI fingerprinting services. You may double-check with the NZ Police stations in your area.

Those who need NBI forms may send their request via courier to the Embassy:

Embassy of the Philippines
50 Hobson Street, Thorndon, Wellington, 6011

Please send the following in a courier bag with “Signature required” sticker:

  • Request for NBI form
  • Self-addressed courier bag (so the Embassy knows where to mail your NBI form)
  • photocopies of your passport and other identification card/s.
