“Sa dulo man ng mundo, magsama-sama tayo!”

This is the third of the #FiliXP series, exploring the collaboration of Japan and Filipino talent and creativity. It’s collaborated by Pasada (PH) with Yuki Sonoda (JP), Pinoy photographer Ralph Lumbres (JP) and performer Ness Roque (JP).

In the song “Bagong Komunidad”, Pasada featuring Yuki Sonoda celebrates the solidarity and strengthening of friendship between communities. Weaving into the melody is Ness Roque’s interspersed poetry, calling for unity and working together for a better future. In relation to that, photographer Ralph Lumbres shares snippets of life as a Filipino in Japan. He emphasizes the similar experiences of the Japanese people and Filipinos, suggesting a bond that connects us all.
