The NZIIA Wellington Branch - New Zealand Institute of International Affairs joined us at the Embassy for a talk titled "The Philippine-New Zealand Relationship: the Next 55 Years." I emphasized that we embrace the reality that the Philippine presence and engagement with NZ is our people - not products, and that our bilateral relationship should be more directly focused on each other, and minimize being "bundled" with third parties ... PH's contribution to NZ is our people - particularly those in the caring sector - while NZ can more pro-actively share its world-best good governance rooted in its balanced Treaty + Crown bi-cultural foundation. Both PH and NZ can jointly share our Humanity and Balance with the rest of the world.
